A traditional yet modern place for Families and children to connect with the land and food. It’s what we call Farming v.2.0. Children can learn a lot when they feed our animals and collect our chicken’s eggs.
You can go for a nature walk following the woodland trail, then sit in front of the stove in the Garden Room enjoying Cream Teas.
We run regular family-friendly events at the farm, be sure to check them out.
You can then end the day by camping on our campsite for the night. No tent? That is not a problem, you can try wood cabin camping – it’s like a wooden version of a tent but with comfy beds. There’s a log burner for cosy nights in, BUT with none of the hassles!
You could even come with your colleagues from work and have a team-building ‘ away day’ with a difference. Where you can construct a new pig pen or chicken hutch – and then watch the new tenants move in!
At church farm Ardley we have productive activities which don’t cost the earth.
