Alton Towers Resort has been around for nearly 200 years. The theme park opened on 4th April in 1980.
When it opened it included;
Cine 2000
The Corkscrew – Which was the first double-loop rollercoaster in Britain.
The Pirate ship
Wildlife museum
The house and Grade 1 listed gardens date back to 1810 – It opened to visitors way back in 1843.
The theme park has over 40 rides and attractions. It’s suitable for people of all ages. It’ll keep your kids entertained for hours.
20 of their attractions are aimed at young children and families. Your kids can meet some of the best-loved characters from their favourite CBeebies shows.
You can go just for the day or make a real experience of it and take a short break there.
